The Board of Directors of Voices of African Mothers extended an invitation to celebrate our Second Annual presentation of the: “Millennium Development Goals: 2015 Progress Awards.”
This 2015 Gala was a landmark event, because it took place towards the end of the target date set by the United Nations for achieving crucial development objectives including those that directly affect women and children. It also brought together a select group of distinguished leaders who are making their own contributions to the achievement and realization of some of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) and are being honored by VAM on the eve of the launching of the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.
Honorees and Guests were greeted in the United Nations Delegates Dining Room for the “Millennium Development Goals: 2015 Progress Awards” Gala.
